Frequently Asked Questions

How does the no-claims bonus system work?

Each year without an at-fault claim, your coefficient drops by 5% (multiplied by 0.95). In case of an at-fault claim, it increases by 25% (multiplied by 1.25). Minimum is 0.50 (max bonus), maximum 3.50.

How long to reach the 50% bonus?

It takes 13 consecutive years without an at-fault claim to go from coefficient 1 (start) to coefficient 0.50 (maximum bonus).

Does a non-fault claim affect my bonus?

No, a claim where you're not at fault doesn't affect your coefficient. Only claims where you're at fault (total or partial) impact your no-claims bonus.
