12 points for a full license (after probationary period). 6 points during probation, increasing by 2 or 3 points per year without violation.
How to recover points?
Automatically after 6 months (1-point violation), 2 years (minor offense) or 3 years without violation. A voluntary course can recover up to 4 points.
What happens at 0 points?
The license is invalidated. You must retake the exam after 6 months driving ban and a medical examination.
How much does a recovery course cost?
Between €100 and €280 depending on the center. The course recovers up to 4 points and lasts 2 consecutive days.
