Until 10 years or 135 cm. Beyond that, the child can use an adult seat belt if properly positioned.

Rear-facing is mandatory until 15 months (i-Size standard) and recommended as long as possible, ideally until 4 years.
Can I put a child in the front seat?
Yes, but only with a suitable seat and airbag deactivated if rear-facing. The back seat remains safer.
What are the car seat groups?
Group 0/0+ (0-13kg), Group 1 (9-18kg), Group 2 (15-25kg), Group 3 (22-36kg). The i-Size standard uses height as reference.
How do I know if the seat is properly installed?
The seat should not move more than 2 cm. Check Isofix fixings or seat belt, and that the child is securely strapped without slack.
